Project Description

The modular design of the system, allows flexible integration of any standard C-arm X-ray imager for localization of the stone. Coupling between the shock wave unit and the C-arm and calibration of the targeting cross is so easy and rapid. This design allows multipurpose use of all components with no waste of capital or space.
The radilolucent table top with motorized positioning capability can flexibly be used for all cystoscopic applications. Thanks to the eccentric lifting column, the C-arm can still be available for viewing purpose. A subsequent E.S.W.L. session would follow the cystoscopic maneuver with no need for patient transportation or wasted time.
Whether you choose the economical fixed reflector type, or you walk the way to the top of the range electrically rotating MT2-RX model, Your patient is always in good hands.

The rotating reflector ensures accurate targeting of all urinary stones , wherever their location and regardless of the anatomical bony structures around.. The stepless rotation allows ease of imaging while the patient is always in the supine position. Shock wave delivery is right at the proper spot to hit the stone with no compromise on the safety aspects. The iso-centric design of the rotating energy tube skips the need for re-calibration of the alignment at the change of the approaching angle. You may rotate the reflector during the session without having to align the pointer again.

Push buttons and switches are now history. . The amazing screen control and archiving capabilities at the digital workstation are completing each other to give the operating doctor a single mouse control of all desired functions. Patient demographics and treatment center parameters are first stored in the system database as reference for future follow up and recall of treatment session captured images. A specific section is dedicated to the docotr’s comment – before and after the session – not to miss any remarks or recommendation about the case. A time-selective slide show allows display of fragmentation changes in a cine-loop pattern. First and last images are automatically captured upon selecting start and end of session screen controls.
Dual imaging with the help of an ultrasound scanner supplied with a convex probe is available any time, simultaneous acquisition of pictures from both sources is now available in the state of the art MT2-RX software package.
The system can generate and automatic report including customized data fields and two images, and showing most of the session parameters for future consultation and follow up.
