BMA Overview
Founded in 1998 as a sister company to a major provider of mobile health care services in Egypt, BMA Corporation is a medical device manufacturer founded by an Egyptian doctor who was joined later by ambitious partners from the medical profession. BMA’s team had the vision of growing their company to become a challenger to giant multi-national medical device manufacturers in a focused number of product lines.
BMA has managed to build a great reputation in the local market by listening to customers’ needs, leveraging innovation, and placing a special emphasis on quality. This focused strategy has enabled BMA to achieve very competitive levels of quality and functionality in its products. The positive response of the market has allowed BMA to grow in terms of revenue, number of employees, and internal capacity.
BMA offers two main product lines: the operating room product line and the Extra-corporeal lithotripsy systems.
The OR product line includes a number of BMA’s flagship operating tables with hard-to-beat price/performance offerings. A wide and growing range of auxiliary products is introduced to complement this line, from ceiling pendants, to care beds, transport trolleys, examination couches, and so much more to carefully handle patients’ needs. The first Extra Corporeal Shockwave Lithotripter (ESWL) was rolled out of BMA in 1999. Since then, BMA has managed to steadily increase its market share to become number one in the local market.
With both patients and healthcare providers in mind, BMA is continuing to pursue a customer-focused quality-centered strategy to serve all its customers and continue to earn their trust.
